He then completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2023. He has experience providing direct patient care in acute settings from his experience as an Emergency Medicine, PA-C. He believes a strong patient-provider relationship is important in providing quality healthcare.

Dr. Navdeep Mathur, MD, MPH, FACP (Primary & Urgent Care)

Dr. Navdeep Mathur graduated from George Mason University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with High Honors. He completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from George Washington University in 1999. He earned his medical degree in 2003 from Ben Gurion University (Israel) in a collaborative program with Columbia University in New York. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital in 2006. He has worked in private practice in Washington D.C since October of 2006.

Charlyn Tupaz a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, I bring 18 years of nursing experience to my practice. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that the best healthcare comes from building strong, trusting connections with my patients and their families.
I am passionate about wellness and prevention, focusing on giving you the tools and education needed to manage your health long-term. I graduated from Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines with my BSN and later specialized in Adult-Gerontology at Walden University in 2020. I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey."
Ruthann Wheeler, FNP (Urgent Care)
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Ruthann Wheeler graduated from the University of NC at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 1994. She returned to school after starting a family and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Northern Virginia Community College in 2003. She began her nursing career in the emergency department and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in 2012. After working at the bedside and in leadership roles for many years in both the emergency department and in outpatient surgery, she received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty in 2017 from Chamberlain University. She is board certified by both the American Nurses Credentialing Center & American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Jeannie Lee, PA-C (Urgent Care)

Jeannie Lee, PA-C, is a Physician Associate at Virginia Urgent and Primary Care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Clinical Neuroscience from Virginia Tech. She completed her Physician Associate education at Eastern Virginia Medical School, now known as Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University, where she is also currently a candidate for the Doctor of Medical Science in Clinical Leadership.
She is passionate about evidence-based medicine and providing compassionate, patient-centered care to underserved populations. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local forests with her husband and their dog.
